Hi. If you thought this was the blog of Allen Kunz, you'd be wrong. Allen is actually my middle name. You can call me Kody.
Who am I? I'm just an amateur video game programmer in college right now. I'm in Toronto, because that's where I'm attending said college. It's also where the independent gaming scene is. Independent gaming for the epic win, man.
Among projects, I've helped make a Super Mario Bros 3 level re-creation, a poker hand evaluator, a 2 minute soundscape (all me, baby), a Worms-like platformer called "Tanks For Playing", and a Unity3D-based project called "Reptiles and Robots". None of these are wholly finished except the soundscape and the poker hand evaluator, but I poured my blood into each and every one of those along with my teammates. Exhausting, I tells ya. Programming isn't easy by a long shot. But the results are definitely worth it.
Among programming, I have a Let's Play series of videos up on YouTube. I
freaking love Pokemon, ever since its conception. So I finally decided to do something about it. The series makes me
feel like I've accomplished something. Even if most of it is my beating
up wild creatures with domesticated creatures combined with snide comments.
I am also obligated to say that I am an AWESOME person. And you know what? I really am. And you're all awesome people for reading this. Oops, I didn't capitalize that. You are all AWESOME. There. Perhaps my next game should have the word AWESOME in it. With all caps. Yeah, that'd be kickin'. And my first letter too. It should be... AWESOMEK? Yeah I put the K in there!
What can I say that's not related to video gaming? Uh... I'm thin. Like, I'm so thin I could slip under a door without wrinkling. Okay, not to that extreme, but you get the point. I also feel that I'm naturally thin, and to be quite honest I'd rather be thin than fat, partially due to more the health problems you run the risk of, if you're fat.
Also, this guy is freaking awesome:

And no I'm totally not saying that just because he's my professor and he's on my case. No really. DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT.
I'm an avid Team Fortress 2 fan. Steam in general is GREAT. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT. Even though I only have like 5 games for it.
I'd also like to give my folks a huge shout since they put up with my shit on a daily basis. *raises coffee mug* You guys are the AWESOMEst. Yes, that is totally a word. If it wasn't before, it is now because I said so. Hmm. Perhaps you two should be the starring characters in my next game... I'm only kidding. Don't get scared now.
I'd also like to thank Baseball (Mark Irwin) for being indirectly responsible for the creation of this. Thanks man.
So, uh, now that you have a 0.0001% idea of who I am, I guess I'll end MY FIRST EVER BLOG POST YEAH.
See you in another time and place... or so I predict.
